Oh le jeu de mots !

D’Astérix aux Diablintes, comment s’habillaient les Gallo-Romains ? Au cinéma et sur la scène, les tenues inspirées de l’Antiquité sont parfois le reflet fidèle des connaissances de l’époque, parfois le fruit d’une imagination exubérante. Peu importe ! Ces costumes de films vus et revus, ces robes splendides nous font rêver et nous invitent au passage à regarder différemment les quelques objets livrés par l’archéologie. Cléopâtre, Jules César, Néron et Brutus s’installent ainsi au cœur du musée de Jublains.

Un livret de visite gratuit accompagne cette exposition et propose de retrouver quelques témoignages de bijoux, coiffures et accessoires de vêtements parmi les collections permanentes du musée.

Christian Lacroix. La Source. Ballet de l'Opéra de Paris [exposition]

Le Centre national du costume de scène et de la scénographie poursuit son travail avec Christian Lacroix, en le suivant au cœur de l’Opéra national de Paris, où il a créé les costumes du ballet La Source, dans une chorégraphie du danseur étoile Jean-Guillaume Bart. Portés surscène par le Ballet de l’Opéra de Paris au Palais Garnier à l’automne 2011, ces magnifiquescostumes brodés de cristaux Swarovski sont présentés dans une exposition orchestréepar Christian Lacroix.

Quand le pop-rock et l'histoire de l'art font bon ménage

Un clip qui met de bonne humeur dans un été tout gris. Il mêle musique (chanson 70 million par le groupe franco-américain "Hold Your Horses" et références clins d'œil très drôles à l'histoire de la peinture. Réalisateur : David Freymond (2010).

The Centro per lo studio della Moda e della produzione culturale / Centre for the study of Fashion and Cultural Production (Modacult) is a research institute founded in 1996 within the Faculty of Political Science at the Catholic University of Milan bringing together scholars from the Department of Sociology of the same university. The Centre benefits from the collaboration of Italian and international researchers with professional experts.

Modacult has an international reputation in the field of socio-cultural studies in fashion, together with a strong consolidated experience in research on consumer and gender studies, cultural industries, culture-led urban regeneration and creative districts.

The Centre works in partnerships with fashion enterprises and a wide group of international research institutions.

Symbol of such ramarkable connections is, for example, the Milano Fashion Institute, consortium to provide higher education in the fashion sector set up together with Università Bocconi and Politecnico di Milano.

Modacult aims to:

• Stimulate the scientific debate through papers and conferences on fashion, sustainability, consumer studies, urban regeneration, creative districts, and cultural industries.
• Develop interdisciplinary research projects both on a national and international level.
• Plan educational and training activities in the fields of fashion, communication and cultural promotion;
• Facilitate the creation of networks and partnerships among enterprises, schools, universities and research centres through, among others, consultancy services on the territory.
